The Settings in the huger games.

What am i Learning?

In class i am learning where and how the setting are Appropriately used for example in the movie i am doing Hunger games, District 12 Looks as if it was from the past yet Capitol and District 1 looks like there in the future cause they have more money.

How does this show my working?

It shows The different districts and how different they are by looking at the key ill re write it here:

What am i wondering as a result of this?

Since District one is closer it gets paid A whole heap more then distict 12 which is at the back of the Country. If your a student think i think the kids at the front get more Help then the ones in th back who get into more trouble for not doing work.

Acid Rain Thingy,

Observing the Effects Of Acid Rain,

Acid rain makes Chemical weathering happen more quickly. Buildings and Statues made from Rock are Damaged as a result. This is worse when the rock is Limestone Rather then granite. Oamaru stone is New Zealand most important building stone and is a very pure limestone. It is soft enough to be easily sawn and worked. unfortunately, These propities make it very susceptible to the effects of acid rain.

Aim, To see the effect of limestone From acid rain,

Method:

1. Make sure you have all of the equipment.
2. Evenly Spread out the Leave, Flower, Litmas paper, Universal indecator

Aim-To make Green indicator.

Hypothesis- I predict I could not make a rainbow,

Method-Adding a drop of either Sodium hydroxide to a testube and/or Hydrochloride acid,

Results- all i got was a Red, Green, Lime, Light blue and a Dark Oceanic blue.

Discussion- We added more Hydrochloride acid and Sodium Hydroxide to it to change the colors,

Conclusion, No it did not work as well as i planned we had more of a rainbow then what i Expected.

my social studies assignment.

Key Question 1: What is the environmental/social sustainability issue? 

I think that a major issue is a
Deforestation in deforestation,
we cut down a lot of trees (13,000 each second)

Key Question 2:  What factors have caused this issue?

people are cutting trees for:

1. pencils
2. houses
3. buildings
4. paper
5. tables
6. oils
7. room for buildings
8. traps so we can eat some animals

Key Question 3:  What will happen if this issue continues to degrade? 

we will start having less oxygen to breathe and have fewer animals that repopulate
by eating trees and more toxic fogs
and an apocalyptic scenery where smoke is in every corner and we can die from this smoke,
birds losses of eggs and nests taken by other animals the only animals
that can fly around are ones that can use echolocation.

Key Question 4: What are the possible solutions to this issue (either being currently done or could be done)?  

make a lot more national parks and force peoples pockets like ($5) and use the money and plant trees we could also pay YouTubers 1,000 dollars and tell them to do what Mr Beast did with the 20,000.145 trees. this would be sustainable because we are planting back all the trees we murdered. What we would be doing is Helping all the animals so some of the YouTubers in Australia can feed koalas and possums and other native animals, African YouTubers can feed there native animals rhinos.

I found out that people cut down trees for money for the expense
of more dangerous gases letting out and co2 taking over the o2 (co2= carbon dioxide and o
2 is oxygen) and that most care a whole lot

less about the world then what we should.
I also found out we cut down a whole lot of trees.
if we recycled some of our wood (except the mouldy wood) we could have a lot of trees around, for example,
if we had a chair we could change it to a table or a different type of chair.
I think some of the things that were made are preposterous, a one-use toothbrush,
a barely used chair, a couch that by the end of it will be dumped in nature and become mouldy,
and lastly, fossil fuels (oils) made by trees that we use more to kill our environment.
These examples show that we need to stop cutting down as much tres as we are.

button eyes,

These eyes are definitely terrifying. The black button eyes let us know that we are in the other world. except for the key the key was the way to go in  to the other world.

These buttons essentially act like masks. Coraline can't tell if her other parents are watching her and she can't get any clues through their eyes as to what they're thinking.

it really symbolizes hope love and attention with the tale of a little bit of terror.

the key

The really wierd key into the other world becomes a hot commodity, or item, in the story. There's only one key to the door between the other world and our world. the other mother and Coraline both want to control that key.

the director uses the colour palette to reflect Coraline's feelings towards a place. When she feels lonely and unhappy. If it was yellow, orange and red Coraline would feel very very happy.

it makes the viewer think its bored and meloncoly.

this is done to reinforce the idea that Coraline is wanted and not a pain in the backside.
it is a wondrous place for her to be in
however as i know the other mother is trying to make Coraline fall into her trap.

colours in this seen with the very terrifying pictures and gif the feeling is sad,terrifying and shocking the perdominint colours used is  green and purple because it is trying to make coraline very very terrifyed. the director has used these colours because
